 The main ingredient in Prosit, Aloe Ferox, have shown to lower cholesterol by inhibiting cholesterol absorption (Tizard 1986). In a small trial with monkeys it was found that Aloe Ferox lowered total cholesterol by 61% with a proportionate rise in HDL (Dixit,1983).
